CITIZEN presents "series 8" Mechanical watch models with magnetic resistance
Series 8 is a collection of functional and practical watches with a modern and sporty look. We are proud to present three new mechanical models in the 870, 830 and 831 series. The models are equipped with our magnetoresistive magneto-resistance movements 0950 and size 9051, guarantors of advanced performance in today's digital world.
Whether for business or leisure, the modern and dynamic style of the Series 8 watches allows them to adapt to any environment. This series of models impresses with its many practical functions. These include the magnetic resistance, which protects the watch of magnetic fields during its daily use, and an extremely comfortable adjustment to the wrist.
Series 8 watches have a modern case with straight and clean lines. The bold combination of classic style and matte finish brushed with a multitude of fine lines gives a modern and sporty look. The functions of the watch are very practical. The mechanical movements Cal. 0950 and Cal. 9051, newly developed in 2021, are used here.
In addition, watches have improved magnetic resistance, which is essential in our modern digital world. It provides protection against magnetic fields generated by smartphones, tablets and other devices that can affect the accuracy of the watch. The movement is only 4.1 mm thick, which results in a much thinner and extremely comfortable housing to wear. The figure 8 in the name of Series 8 means infinity (∞) - an expression of the infinite possibilities of the crafts of CITIZEN.
New model with two-part dynamic refractor
The housing is accentuated by pure lines and a two-part dynamic refractor. The classic but catchy design combines brushed and shiny finishes with a sleek dial, very well organized with clear and highly visible clues and needles. The bold and refined design of this model is inspired by the art of subtraction. The casing, which is only 4.1 mm thick, offers increased magnetic resistance and ensures a strong presence on the wrist and an extremely comfortable maintenance. Distinctive needles, characteristic of mechanical watches, are based in clear clues to create a simple and classic design that immediately draws attention.
Series 8-830 Mechanical
Three layers of mother-of-pearl and metal for a new look.
This model offers a fresh fresh look that combines a metal grid with a mother-of-pearl layer on the dial. The dial is made up of three layers: a metal dial at the bottom, a layer of mother-of-pearl in the middle and a metal grid with indicia at the top. A delicate motif emerges from this innovative design of the dial. As a result, the design offers an attractive contrast between the right edges of the octogonal housing and the sleek lines of the dial. With its sober and discreet style, the watch embodies the character of the Series 8 collection.
Series 8-831 Mechanical
In the same distinctive octogonal case as the model 830, model 831 presents a simpler monochrome dial. The elegant needles fade towards the edge of the dial and combine with detailed clues to create a dynamic look. The daring brushed finish of the bracelet, with its straight and sleek lines, blends harmoniously with the classic design of the housing.
