The LX line, which is part of the Prospex collection, represents the pinnacle of Seiko sport watches. The name "LX", derived from the Latin word "light", subtly evokes the way light is reflected in the wide and flat surfaces of each box. The new LX model is equipped with the unique "Spring Drive" movement of Seiko, which demonstrated its durability, resistance and capabilities when used in space in 2008.

Its design is based on the 1968 Diver's historical model, the first Seiko diving watch that had a 300m watertight and a high-alternating movement.
A Prospex recreation of this 1968 Diver's was awarded the sports watch award in 2018 at the prestigious Grand Prix d' Horlogerie in Geneva. The LX collection inherits the original design of the 1968 Diver's Hi-beat housing.
The surface of the enclosure has a brightness and a perfect polishing thanks to the Zaratsu technique and the lowering of its center of gravity ensures this watch modernity and a greater comfort to the worn.
