Automatic reassembly mechanical watch
An automatic watch (or automatic rewinding mechanical watch) has a sophisticated mechanism to track the clock automatically thanks to the wrist movements of the bearer.
Fully recovered, your automatic watch has a walking reserve of about 120 hours (5 days). The stock reserve thus accumulated allows the watch to be removed and then worn again after a prolonged weekend or a week.
However, if you have not worn your watch for several days, it will stop. In this case, before you carry your watch again, we advise you to trace it manually by turning the crown fifty times in the clockwise direction, in order to ensure its perfect operation in all circumstances. After a few hours at your wrist, depending on your level of activity, your watch will be perfectly uplifted.
Note:
-The efficiency of automatic reassembly is directly related to the movements of the bearer's wrist. If the movements of the wrist are insufficient, the watch can stop even by being worn. In this case, as a preventive measure, we recommend that the clock be retraced manually by turning the crown fifty times in the clockwise direction.
In addition, the watch strap must be properly adjusted to the bearer's wrist: if the bracelet is too loose, the watch may not recover properly.
-It is necessary to remove the watch from the wrist before retracing it. This ensures that the uplift rod remains uprighted at the time of reassembly, thus avoiding damage to the crown or movement.
-Do not deliberately shake a self-winding watch to cheer it up faster. This is unnecessary and could damage the movement.
-Even if you do not wear your watch for several months, we advise you to trace it manually regularly. This will prevent the oils from becoming frozen or spreading along the axes of the movement.
