The Himalaya model was born from a discussion between Fred Lip Fascinating with mountain, and his friend Lionel Terray, high mountain guide. Maurice Herzog, friend of Fred Lip, also strongly contributed to the success of this watch. The identity of this watch has its origin from the mountain range that houses the highest peaks in the world: Himalaya.
