The year 2019 marks a new turning point for Ralf Tech with the arrival of the all-new WRV automatic chronograph "tachymeter" within its collection.
Highly inspired by the 1970s, the WRV is a hyphen between two eras. At the same time vintage and current, it happily marries the best of the two universes through complex and elegant curves that pay tribute to the visual codes of seventies while using today's technologies. Taking up the lines and codes of the WRV, the newcomer does not share any room. Because it is a new 100% model that was presented in Basel last March.
A new box: 43.9mm This is the diameter of the new WRV chronograph. Alternating polished and satin surfaces It hosts a crown revented at 3 o'clock (it was offset on the automatic WRV) and two pushers screwed at 2 and 4 hours. A new movement: Made in Japan, the new RT002® movement is a watchful masterpiece. This automatic chronograph movement, has 292 pieces and 34 rubies perfectly combining the mechanical watchmaking tradition and the high precision chronograph function.
IMPORTANT POINT, the chronograph activation mechanism consists of a column wheel. Considered by the industry as colors like the most coveted chronograph mechanism, the column wheel offers a very soft touch sensation thanks to its vertical clutch, which makes it much more pleasant to use than the cam lever chronograph system Horizontal used in traditional Swiss movements.
A new dial: Panda ... The WRV automatic chronograph "tachymeter" comes in 3 different versions, one with Panda dial and two with inverted panda dial, 2 with a 316L surgical steel case and one with black pvd coated case.
And as always at Ralf Tech the tightness is at the rendezvous with a second silicone bracelet that will use the WRV underwater.
